Software / Development collaboration
About the project
FinalCode brings the steps between changing code and testing it on a phone into one Mac application. It is designed to build, install and run apps across connected iPhones and Android phones, alongside simulators and emulators.
Omid’s contribution
Omid Romal contributed to the development of FinalCode as part of a collaborative software project. The work sits alongside his wider interest in building practical digital tools.
The product focuses on a familiar development challenge: seeing how an app behaves on actual devices, following errors as they happen and checking the next build. It connects the development process with the experience on the screen.
The product
The official product presentation brings real iPhones and Android phones together with simulators and emulators, so developers can follow several devices in one window.
Live device logs, grouped issues and readable iPhone crash reports are presented alongside build history, helping developers connect a problem with the device and build where it appeared.
FinalCode lists support for React Native, Expo, Unity, Flutter, native iOS and Android, and web apps. Its public feature set also includes Android build sharing through a QR code and connections with coding assistants.
