Digital Cinema.
A place for film.

Film discovery, digital screenings and a closer connection between stories, their creators and their audiences.

The vision

More stories.
More ways to find them.

Making a film is only part of its journey. Finding an audience gives that work a life beyond the production.

Digital Cinema brings together Omid’s work as a director and his interest in building digital products. Its purpose is to create a place where people can discover cinema from different countries and perspectives, and where independent filmmakers can introduce audiences to their stories.

The project connects the experience of choosing a film with the atmosphere of going to the cinema: a programme to explore, a screening to join and a creative voice to follow.

The platform

One idea.
Several ways into cinema.

01 / Discover

A wider world of film.

Explore films through categories and curated collections. The public interface presents world cinema, independent work and themed selections as starting points for discovery.

02 / Digital screenings

A ticket to a story.

The platform presents ticket-style viewing rather than treating every film as part of one monthly subscription. The aim is to make the individual film and its screening the centre of the experience.

03 / Cinema rooms

The feeling of being there.

Cinema spaces and an XR Hall appear in the public presentation. Immersive viewing is part of the project’s wider ambition, bringing the idea of a shared cinema into a digital setting.

04 / Library

A personal film journey.

A dedicated library area gives the platform a place for the viewer’s relationship with films beyond the discovery page.

05 / Studio

A place for the creator.

The public navigation includes a Studio and creator profiles. The vision is to connect the people who make films with the audiences looking for new work and new voices.

06 / Community

Beyond the end credits.

Discovery can continue through the people behind a film. A social area called The Wall and creator spotlights are part of the public platform’s presentation.

A filmmaker’s perspective

Built around
the work.

Omid’s interest in Digital Cinema sits alongside his own directing work. It is a natural meeting point between storytelling and software: thinking about how a film is presented, how people find it and what makes them want to watch.

The ambition is to give independent work a considered presentation and make cinema feel like an experience worth choosing.
